I had the pleasure of having Lorelee Siemens as a guest on episode 15. I was truly inspired as she talked about her upbringing and how much of an influence her family has had on her relationship with God. She has a way of painting a picture so vividly with her words. I'm sure that's why her Church History podcast is such a success. It is no secret, after speaking with her, that she is a champion for the truth of God's word. She has never refered to herself as such, but it is apparant that she has strong convictions about her responsibilties as a bible teaching, bible believing Christian. I can't remember the last time I talked about abortion issues before talking to her. I've always had the same stance; I'm pro-life, but this conversation with her was different. It truly made me feel a new level of compassion for all of those who have been impacted by abortion. What I have come to realize is that there are no winners in that situation. I didn't think to ask Lorelee about this, but as I think about it now, it would have been a great conversation to ask her what her thoughts were about women who were told that if they didn't terminate their pregnancy, that they could die. I wonder what her thoughts are on that? This was an incredible conversation and I thank God for the opportunity to have it.
